Sponsoring A Workshop
Guidelines
A minimum of ten participants is requested for workshops scheduled. Saturdays and Sundays often create the highest
attendance, however, weekdays have also worked depending on the area. Conferences, schools and special events are
also good locations for workshops. An introductory group channeling held on Thursday or Friday evening always draws
participants and introduces potential attendees to the work. Those attending introductory evenings often sign up
for workshops as well. Sponsors are responsible for prepaid registrations, collection of fees paid at the door,
generating a roster of participant's names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Name tags (stick on type)
are required as they allow the group to bond quickly and are a good way to monitor payment. The sponsor is admitted to
the workshop free of charge as part of their compensation. Sponsors also receive 30% of the
profits from the workshops after expenses are deducted from gross workshop proceeds. If the sponsor desires to promote
private sessions while Gregory is in town and if there is an appropriate quiet space to hold such private sessions,
then 10% after expenses are paid to sponsors for Private Sessions. Expenses for workshops and private sessions include
and are not limited to: hall rental, airfare, train fare, car rental, driving expenses and expenses incurred by the
sponsor to promote the event (please keep receipts for tax purposes). To discourage late arrivals to workshops, no
partial fees will be accepted. Late arrivals interrupt the energy flow and decrease the integrity of the experience,
which is unfair to prompt participants. Sponsors may use the Bio on the 'About us' page for
workshop introduction.
Promotion
To spread these teachings, Gregory will appear on radio or television, having had experience with both. He is also available for telephone interviews and will submit articles to local publications with at least three weeks notice. Advertising has not proven effective and is discouraged. Phone calls and word of mouth referrals are very effective. Gregory's wife Sandie will provide flyer originals for effective promotion.
Scholarships
A maximum of four scholarships, normally for teenagers, are allowed per workshop. These consist of a 50% discount off the regular price.
Exchanges
Paid participants take precedence over all exchanges. Gregory must personally approve all exchanges for workshops. Requests for exchanges often become unmanageable and time may exclude exchanges. Exchanges for workshops, may be arranged for services, such as registration, cleanup and/or lodging.
Payment
Cash is preferred, money orders, personal checks, MasterCard and Visa may also be accepted based upon the sponsors’ ability to process them.
Accommodations
A room in a private residence is preferred to a hotel situation. A private session is exchanged for room and board. Gregory prefers poultry and seafood to red meat. He drinks herbal tea and water, consumes no alcohol and does not smoke. He loves children and animals. He also loves teenagers and agrees with Mark Twain, that teenagers are hormones with feet, having two of his own, feet, that is.
